SUNYGROUP Wet-Type Copper Granulator System Ready for Shipment

An Indian client ordered an industrial-grade wet-type copper granulator recycling system from SUNYGROUP. The system has successfully passed factory performance testing and quality acceptance; it is being loaded today for transport to Qingdao Port, ready for shipment overseas.

In the field of scrap wire recycling, traditional dry-type air separation methods often struggle with fine-gauge wires, automotive mixed wires, communication cables, and ultra-fine sheathed wires; the airflow can easily blow away fine copper dust, resulting in significant “copper loss.”

To meet the Indian client’s specific requirements for high-purity copper recovery and minimal copper loss, SUNYGROUP’s engineering team configured a proven, high-efficiency wet separation process.

Scrap wires enter the heavy-duty crusher chamber, where a specialized water-cooling system rapidly cuts the copper wires while preventing the plastic insulation from heating up and sticking. The crushed material emerges as a mixture of 2–4 mm copper granules and plastic particles.

Subjected to the combined action of water flow and the high-frequency vibration of a shaking table, the copper granules migrate upward and settle at the bottom for discharge, while the plastic particles float away with the water. The recovered copper granules achieve a purity of over 99.5%.

The water used in the separation process flows into an integrated automated sedimentation tank and filtration system. Water is 100% recycled within the system—eliminating the need for frequent replenishment or wastewater discharge—thereby fully complying with local environmental protection standards.
