Suny Group’s facility recently welcomed a delegation of clients from Spain. The primary objective of their visit was to conduct the final pre-shipment quality acceptance testing—involving actual operational trials—for a complete PV panel recycling line they had ordered. As one of the pioneers in European solar energy, Spain has already begun to experience the first wave of large-scale PV module decommissioning.
Within Suny Group’s production workshop, a team of engineers conducted operational trials of the entire PV panels recycling line using actual materials, strictly adhering to the acceptance criteria provided by the clients. Through a multi-stage process of crushing and sorting, the system successfully yielded high-value outputs, including aluminum frames, glass, silicon powder, metal powder, and plastics. On-site sampling and testing confirmed that the sorting purity and recovery rates for all materials met the specific performance indicators stipulated in the contract.
After signing the official equipment acceptance certificate, the Spanish clients expressed their enthusiasm: “Environmental compliance costs in Europe are extremely high; however, Suny Group’s equipment—driven by highly automated PLC controls—not only drastically reduces labor costs but also transforms waste materials into high-purity commodities ready for immediate market trading. This gives us immense confidence in the future prospects of our PV panel recycling project.”
The successful acceptance testing by the Spanish clients once again validates Suny Group’s leading technological position in the global manufacturing sector for PV module recycling equipment. Currently, the equipment has entered the container loading and shipping phase and is set to depart shortly for a Spanish port. We remain committed to leveraging recycling technologies that meet the highest global standards to assist an increasing number of countries and regions in achieving a closed-loop lifecycle for green energy resources.
