Laminated Glass Recycling Equipment for Russia

In the field of solid waste recycling, the resource recovery of discarded laminated glass from construction (such as doors and windows) and end-of-life vehicle windshields has long challenged recycling companies due to the difficulty of separating the strong PVB interlayer film.

A laminated glass recycling line ordered by a Russian client has successfully passed rigorous performance tests using actual materials at the SUNYGROUP factory. All performance metrics meet factory standards, and the equipment is now ready for shipment to Russia.

Using a heavy-duty, high-pressure dual-roller machine, the system uniformly crushes the upper and lower layers of glass into a mesh-like pattern of fragments while ensuring the intermediate PVB/EVA film remains intact and free from mechanical tearing. The separated glass fragments can be directly utilized as high-quality raw material for construction glass or fiberglass production, while the extracted PVB film can be processed into granules for recycling—achieving a comprehensive circular use of resources.
