Continuous Carbonization Furnace for Mexico Client

The continuous carbonization furnace for aluminum cans, independently developed and manufactured by SUNY GROUP, has successfully passed pre-delivery quality inspections and performance testing with actual material. The equipment has undergone core component reinforcement and is now ready for shipment to the Mexico client’s facility.

During the recycling process for used aluminum cans, surface layers such as paint, ink, and various organic coatings are notoriously difficult to handle. If fed directly into a smelting furnace, these materials not only generate significant amounts of harmful fumes but also cause severe aluminum loss due to oxidation. SUNY GROUP’s continuous carbonization furnace offers an ideal solution to this challenge:

Operating under precisely controlled temperatures, the furnace thoroughly removes paint, coatings, and organic impurities from the can surfaces. This prevents aluminum oxidation during subsequent smelting stages and significantly increases the metal recovery rate from the scrap aluminum.

During the initial project phase, SUNY GROUP tailored the design of the continuous carbonization furnace to align with the client’s existing factory layout and specific production capacity requirements.
