The motor rotor is the rotating part of an electric motor. A motor rotor generally consists of an iron core wound with coils, slip rings, and fan blades. Scrap rotors are classified into copper rotors and aluminum rotors. To maximize the benefits of resource recycling, it is essential to separate the various metal materials. This requires the use of motor rotor crushing and sorting equipment.
The motor rotor crushing and sorting line consists of several parts, including a feeding machine, crusher, discharge conveyor, magnetic separator, copper/aluminum separator, finished product conveyor, and waste conveyor. The scrap motor recycling line uses a physical crushing and sorting method. The scrap motor stators, coils, and other materials, pre-sorted manually, are transported by conveyor to primary and secondary crushing; then a strong magnetic roller separator separates the silicon steel sheets from the copper mixture; the copper mixture is then transported by conveyor to a pulverizer for further crushing and refinement to obtain a higher purity product; finally, a conveyor transports the material to an air separation machine for sorting to obtain high-purity copper particles and a small amount of impurities.
The motor rotor recycling line is mainly used to crush motor rotors, air conditioner rotors, washing machine rotors, hand drill rotors, and other raw materials. After crushing, the copper and iron or aluminum and iron can be separated.
