With the development of the photovoltaic power generation market, the number of discarded solar panels is increasing. The disposal of these discarded panels not only leads to resource waste but also has negative environmental impacts. Therefore, establishing a recycling and reuse project for discarded solar panels is of great significance for resource recovery and environmental protection.
The physical dismantling method of solar panels primarily involves mechanical crushing and separation to effectively separate metals, plastics, and other materials from the panels.
Solar panel recycling equipment utilizes specialized frame removal machines and glass removal machines to effectively remove the junction boxes, aluminum frames, and glass from the discarded solar panels. The remaining solar cell components are then processed through multi-stage crushing equipment, including double-shaft shredders, knife crushers, and disc pulverizers. This is followed by three-stage separation using vibrating screens, air classifiers, and electrostatic separators to obtain silicon powder, copper, and plastics. The entire crushing and separation process is equipped with dust removal devices to effectively prevent dust pollution.
