The currently mature waste photovoltaic panel recycling process mainly revolves around “safe dismantling – material sorting – resource recovery,” with specific steps including:

Pre-treatment and frame removal: Automatically removing aluminum frames and junction boxes to prepare for subsequent crushing. Laminated material separation: This is the core technology. The current mainstream processes are physical methods and pyrolysis.

Physical method: Through precision crushing and sorting technologies (such as vibration screening, electrostatic separation, and airflow separation), glass, metals, silicon powder, and backsheet plastics are separated. This method is environmentally friendly and has relatively controllable costs, making it a widely used approach.

Pyrolysis method: Heating in an oxygen-free or low-oxygen environment to decompose the EVA film, thus completely separating the glass and backsheet, which is beneficial for obtaining higher purity glass and intact silicon wafers. This method has higher energy consumption but offers better material protection.

Material refining and purification: Further purification of the separated metals (such as silver and copper) and silicon materials to increase their recycling value.
