Key Technologies of Lithium Battery Recycling Equipment
With the global attention to the new energy industry and the improvement of environmental awareness, the waste lithium battery recycling market is showing a booming trend. After years of technical accumulation, SUNY GROUP has accumulated rich experience in the lithium battery recycling industry, and the lithium battery recycling equipment produced by our company has been well received by domestic and foreign customers.

Key technologies of lithium battery recycling equipment
1. Pretreatment system
Pretreatment is the first step in the recycling of waste lithium batteries, aiming to disassemble the battery into components such as positive electrode, negative electrode, diaphragm and electrolyte. This process requires the use of automated and intelligent disassembly equipment to ensure safe operation, reduce manual intervention, and effectively separate the components to facilitate subsequent processing. The pretreatment system must also be equipped with efficient dust removal and deodorization devices to reduce dust and harmful gas emissions generated during the disassembly process.
2. Recycling of positive and negative electrode materials
Through physical sorting, chemical leaching, extraction, precipitation and other processes, metal elements such as cobalt, nickel and manganese can be recovered. In recent years, hydrometallurgical technology has been widely used in the recycling of positive electrode materials due to its advantages such as high recovery rate and wide application range.
3. Electrolyte and diaphragm treatment
The organic solvents and lithium salts in the electrolyte have high recovery value, but the treatment is difficult. At present, organic solvents are mainly recovered by distillation, extraction and other methods, and lithium salts are recovered by precipitation, crystallization and other methods. As an important component of the battery, the recycling and reuse of the diaphragm is also an important part. Through washing, drying and other processes, the diaphragm can be recycled.
4. Automation and intelligent control
The efficient operation of the lithium-ion battery processing equipment production line is inseparable from the support of automation and intelligent technology. By introducing advanced means such as PLC control system, machine vision technology, and big data analysis, accurate control of the production process, fault warning and intelligent maintenance can be achieved, production efficiency can be improved, and operating costs can be reduced.
Through advanced processing technology, intelligent control means and a complete recycling system, we can effectively recycle the valuable resources in waste lithium batteries and achieve a win-win situation of economic and environmental benefits.
