How to recycle the photovoltaic panels properly?

Single-glass photovoltaic panels are composed of various materials including an aluminum frame, glass, EVA film, silicon wafer, EVA film, backsheet, and junction box. Double-glass photovoltaic panels are composed of various materials including an aluminum frame, glass, EVA film, silicon wafer, EVA film, glass, and junction box. The number of junction boxes varies between single-glass and double-glass photovoltaic panels; some manufacturers include one, while others include two or more.

For the treatment of waste photovoltaic panels, SUNYGROUP has independently developed two processes: physical crushing and pyrolysis:

1. Physical crushing involves automatically removing the aluminum frame and junction box from the photovoltaic panel, followed by crushing the remaining materials. Different sizes of glass particles, copper particles, silicon powder, and EVA powder are then separated, with each material achieving a purity of 90%.

2. The pyrolysis process involves automatically removing the aluminum frame and junction box from the photovoltaic panel, followed by feeding the remaining materials into a tunnel kiln at approximately 600 degrees Celsius for pyrolysis. The fuel can be kerosene, natural gas, or electricity. Using electricity as fuel requires a power of up to 900 KW/H, so it is generally not recommended for customers. The pyrolyzed materials are then separated into glass blocks, copper welding strips, and silicon wafers, with each material achieving a purity of 98%.

As a professional manufacturer of photovoltaic panel recycling equipment, SUNYGROUP can provide customers with customized photovoltaic panel recycling solutions. We welcome all customers to visit our factory for consultation.
