As global electronic waste generation reaches record highs, the demand for e-waste recycling solutions across various nations has become increasingly urgent. SUNYGROUP’s mechanical crushing and separation production line is setting a new industry benchmark, offering a 100% purely physical, zero-pollution method for recovering high-purity copper and precious metals from discarded Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
SUNYGROUP’s PCB Recycling Process
1. Primary Shredding
The PCB recycling process begins with a heavy-duty dual-shaft shredder. Whole circuit boards are sheared into strips approximately 3–5 centimeters in length.
2. Fine Crushing
The shredded strips are then fed into a high-speed hammer mill or a specialized fine crusher. During this stage, the material is pulverized into particles ranging from 1 to 3 millimeters in size.
3. Air Separation
Utilizing the principles of aerodynamics and gravity, the air separator first separates the lightest components. Light components—such as fiberglass dust and lightweight plastic fragments—are lifted by the airflow and collected. Heavy components—metal-rich concentrate particles—proceed to the final refining stage.
4. Electrostatic Separation
By leveraging the differences in electrical conductivity between metals and non-metals, our high-voltage electrostatic separator achieves precise sorting of various materials, ensuring a high recovery rate for metals.
5. Dust Removal System
The entire PCB recycling line operates within a negative-pressure environment. A pulse dust collection system, paired with an activated carbon filtration unit, efficiently captures all fine resin particles and eliminates odors. The result is a clean, dust-free workshop environment.
